Clint Capela, Atlanta Hawks

The NBA is winding down towards the end of the season now but there are still some final places to be fought for and some props to be smacked.

The NBA slate is absolutely HUGE tonight and here I take you through my three favorite props of the night across the slate…

Bobby Portis o7.5 rebounds (-125)

This line appeals to me for numerous reasons, for one Portis has been crashing the boards as of late and he has hit this line at a rate of 75% across the season. I fully expect that number to go up through these last few games as Giannis Antetokounmpo prepares and rests for the playoffs coming up.

While the Washington Wizards do have a decent defence on the boards, I still feel like this is a generous line for Portis. This season Portis is averaging 9.5 rebounds a game and averages 10 rebounds against the Washington Wizards.

I really think tonight is a game in which Bobby can show out and really give Giannis the rest needed leading up to the playoffs. With Deni Advija, Kristaps Porzingis, and Kyle Kuzma out for the Wizards, they also lack size, this also makes me lean towards the Over for Portis tonight as I cannot see who will keep him off the boards.

Clint Capela o10.5 rebounds (+115)

I absolutely LOVE this spot for Clint Capela tonight. He absolutely loves the boards against Chicago, averaging 13 rebounds a game. Capela also averages 12 rebounds across his last five games so the value of him being +115 tonight is too good to turn down.

He picked up 14 rebounds and 12 rebounds in the other two meetings earlier on in the season so this line to me feels like it should be more around the 11.5 mark so I really love the value of this play here tonight.

He does have a tough matchup with Nikola Vucevic but I still really like Clint to get in and around the board tonight and show what he can do. It should be a close game tonight between the two with the Hawks currently sitting as -6 favorites and I do fully expect to see Capela get his full dosage of minutes tonight.

Tyler Herro o28.5 points+rebounds+assists (-115)

We are riding with the boy from south beach tonight in a spot which looks to really favor him tonight. The Detroit Pistons have one of the worst defenses in the league ranking 28th overall for defensive efficiency and they are also in full-on tank mode currently. I really like Herro tonight to get It going for the Miami Heat who have been struggling as of late.

I do have slight concerns about a potential blowout but I could easily see Herro getting this done for us by the third quarter. In the two previous meetings, Herro had 41 and 29 with an average of 36 PRA.

While in the last five games, he has averaged under this mark at 28.4 PRA, this spot tonight just feels too good of a mark to pass up on him as the Heat look to blow the Pistons completely out of the water.

All plays but one tonight would be 1u recommended plays as that is how I will be taking them.
